Mentorship Program
The Mentorship is a new project in the planning stages.
Utilizing the mentorship model of the "Big Brothers Big Sisters" organization, we hope to create a mentorship program which pairs carefully trained adults with at-risk youth with mental health concerns. Big Brothers Big Sisters is willing to partner with Youth 'N Action and allow us to adopt their training program but add additional mental health and crisis response training to the curriculum. This program idea came as a result of dozens of conversations with youth, parents, and providers, and very enthusiastic praise has been received regarding the creation of this program. The program's launch is pending additional funding. Please contact us if you'd like to volunteer as a mentor or financially support this life changing endeavor.
